Last Thursday, 3rd March,World Book Day saw Cathy MacPhail visit us at SMC. Cathy gave a captivating talk to our S2 pupils and I am sure many of them left full of ideas for writing stories. It was interesting to hear Cathy speak about where she got her ideas from, how she developed these ideas and why she enjoyed writing so much. It was lovely to hear her say that she still couldn't believe all the books on the table behind her were written by herself!
